When i start the game (win2k sp3) :
error reading registry and it quits.
Any idea on how to get it running ?

There should be some sort of patch for it, i had it running in win2k anyway. Wouldn't go fullscreen but still worked nicely.
Have you used this patch?

According to Harekiet, apparently not. You could try compatibility mode to force a 640x480 display.
That doesn't work in W2K (at least, not when I've tried it). So, you'll probably manually have to switch it in your CPL. (Whoo, fun!) But in any case, closing thread: RESOLVED.
