HELP!
I'm searching high and low for this file.... . with no luck.
Game: Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries - Pentium/Windows edition
Mercs_3D_HiRes.zip is a patch developed by the fellow who set up this site: http://www.geocities.com/k_lupinsky/
IT allows you to set screen resolutions higher that 640x480!
I (and others ) would love to have it!!!

How do you use this?
Install Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries then use the 1081b patch which you can still get here

Then rename the original mw2shell.dll and put the one from the HiRes patch in the games' directory. You should now be able to select resolutions higher than 640x480 in the options screen. I got it to work up to 1024x768 on the Voodoo 3 but iirc it did not work on the GeForce4. Might depend on what driver version is installed, not sure.
