I'll let you know as soon as I get a chance to try it. Even if it only gives me the equivalent of "Safe-Mode" Windows (which, considering the amount of info that Windows is constantly trying to write, is a safe guess) that would still help, especially for "trashed" Windows installations.

From what I saw when I tried it, it should be possible, but not with those instructions. There are steps missing and at least one step in a very wrong place (tells me to use regedit on a file after it's no longer possible for me to boot into Windows).

I'm fairly sure it can be done, but the instructions need "clarification".
