Hi all,
Has anyone managed to find a way to play Sid Meier's Gettysburg without the CD in the drive?
You can launch the game (it'll nag you), but even though all the scenarios are in the install directory, it won't play anything marked as [CD].

Where did you get the game? Did you used to have the CD or did you download it from somewhere?
You can make an .ISO from the CD. (There are shareware programs such as Ultra ISO) and then 'mount' it on a CD emulation program (e.g. DAEMON). Then do a full install from the mounted ISO image (as the game will look for the device number it was installed from for the CD). Make sure you have the image mounted on that device number when you play.
This will work on a net book etc.
