The game crashes once in a while or goes back to the desktop but with a lot of weird colours. It happens sometimes when a lot is happening. It even happens on the 2.66ghz computer. The disc is in good condition which makes the problem stranger. It is a lot more than the minimum 500 mhz that is required.
Morrowind doesn't classify as a Very Old Game to run On New Systems. Meanwhile have you patched the game with the latest patches from bethesda? Have you tried their support forums too?
I'm using xp if that helps.
