Look if you want help here then you must post:

Your system specs.
Your problem with the game.
What you have tried to get the game to work.

What you can't do:
You can't bring any attitude.
You cannot act like an ass.
Reviving locked threads because you couldn't do the above, posting words in caps such as "REVIVED" like your trying to prove a point or something.

If you cannot bother to do any of the above then I suggest you leave immediately.

To make things easier for you I took the info you post in the previous locked thread and put it into your post up above.

The problem is that the game crashes to the desktop shortly after I start playing.

I have tried compatibility mode, and it only made it worse.

nvidia's later drivers nerf older directx compatibility. Try using pre-77.xx drivers

and dosfreak, your sarcasm sucks in technical help threads. it does not help, and it's just drama bait for you to show off ego power.

leileilol, if you'd like to discuss my ego then take it up in a PM or start a new thread specifically discussing that issue.

I've already deleted one post in this thread that tried to take it off-topic and I don't want to have to do it again...

P.S. You may want to do an "Author" search on a forum poster and review their previous posts before defending them.....

Boogeyman, he had a thread titled the same as this one and in it he was rude and demanding. When he was responded to in vaguely sarcastic overtones he rebutted like a child. The thread was then locked, so he made this one....
