Hello there guys! I love this game! Soo much! But I'm so said, because I can't run it under Windows XP! 🙁 I tried dgVoodoo and zeckensack's Glide wrapper, but wont work - or I did a mistake (Im sure of it) - so, please give me a clear and shape guide how to make this good!

* Motherboard: Abit IC-7
* Processor type and speed: Intel P4 Northwood 3.0 GhZ with HT > I turned off!
* Amount and type of RAM: 512MB DDR @ 400
* Video board w/ RAM amount and type: GeForce 6800 GT w/ 256MB RAM
* Sound board: Integrated on IC-7
* Operating system: Windows XP SP2
* Game name (and version, if applicable): Need for Speed II SE
* Description of problem: See upper ^^
* Reproducibility of problem: Its a matter! Always!
* Sound mode used: Huh 😖
* Video mode: Trying Glide or something 😖
* Version of emulator: dgVoodoo v1.50 Beta2 ; zeckensack's 0.84c

Thanks!

For me it's a case of installing the game, then copying the nfs2sea.exe executable from the game CD-ROM (right-click Open the CD drive in My Computer) to the NFS2 installed game folder then running that with either Zeckensack's Glide wrapper or dgVoodoo installed (I simply put dgVoodooSetup.exe, Glide.dll and Glide2x.dll in the NFS2 folder then fiddle with the settings in dgVoodooSetup.exe as follows:

GLOBAL:
Renderer API: Direct3D9
Screen bit depth: 32 bit

GLIDE:
D3D texture bit depth: Optimal
Refresh rate: Always wait for at least one vertical sync
Texturing options: Disable mipmapping on
LFB access: Enable LFB access, Use hardware cache on, Use fastwrite on, Closer to a real hardware on
Texture mem size: 16384 kB
Resolution: 1280x960 (tweak as you like heh!)

Rest at default or off... but again, tweak to taste.

That's with 1.50 Beta (not the brand newest one) on Nvidia card
