it seems to be common thing for people to have mouse trouble in these old games.... so i have an old c.d. of final doom95 for windows, and i cant get my mouse to work. im trying to run it on windows xp, and the mouse is through the PS/2 port, not the USB. nothing i do seems to work, but im also not that savvy on computers anymore. all i want to do is play some f-ing doom95, is that so much to ask for? if anyone could help me, i would be so grateful....

wow. i appreciate the quick response, but i'm still definently lost. i think i need to be personally walked step by step through making this damn game work. stupid microsoft and id....... 😠

Those stock "95" ports are really bad, and if you really want to play Doom in Windows not DOS, I recommend using some of the more advanced ports, like for example GZDoom.
If that one doesn't suit you, there are others like ZDoom, Vavoom, Doom Legacy, etc.
