Has anyone managed to run this game in winxp? I tried different versions but each one gives a different error. One says that southpark.exe is not a valid win32 application and the other crashes right away with that illegal operation thing.
PS: It's NOT South Park Rally, but that shooter that uses the Turok engine and was popular for N64.

South Park will not run on my desktop computer, but it will run on my laptop. Both systems have WindowsXP. The game crashes (I think) at the point where it tries to identify the video card and provide a choice regarding which driver to use (software, hardware, etc.) Since the laptop has a Geforce 6xxx series, and the desktop has Geforce 8xxx series, perhaps the game does not deal with video cards made after a certain generation. It is also possible that the problem is something else (like SLI, which is enabled on my desktop).
In any case, I don't think WindowsXP is the problem.
