Hello guys! I recently purchased the GTA Classics Collection here on Amazon, and after wrestling with SecuROM to help me get through their annoying protection, I can finally get into the game.

Only problem is, when I select my character and map, Vista crashes out with a "Grand Theft Auto London has stopped working" message. Has anyone else here had this problem? The first GTA and GTA2 work just fine, but London refuses to work. I've tried all the compatibility modes too.

My specs:

Windows Vista Ultimate x64
AMD Athlon 3700+
2GB RAM
nVidia GeForce 8800GT 512MB

Any help is MUCH appreciated!

That might explain why GTA London isn't available on Steam.

There's always a virtual machine if all else fails.

Yeah, the whole reason I bought the set was because London was missing, and the music/radio stations in the Steam version of GTA1 won't work for me even though the music data is there in a "Music" folder.

I see you're using a 64 bits OS. GTA 1 and 2 were remade to run on modern systems but London wasn't. GTA London might have some 16 bit code left which conflicts with the system.
