so i finally found my old copy of dune but now i have vista
i tried to run dosbox but after it accepts the command, nothing happens
help?

What commands? Read the guide listed in my signature.

Dune 2 has worked fine with DOSBox for a long time. Now, unless your machine is some kind of one-off wonder, totally different from everyone elses, what do you think is causing you problems?

and maybe a clue to way it is such a waste of time to try to get badly bungled illegal download to work.

The links for .63 seem to be down and .70 tells me that 'this program can't be run in a dos session'

Actually, that lists support as "0% supported (broken)", for 0.72, which is quite incorrect.
Stesla, you should say what it is exactly that you do before we're able to diagnose the problem. Saying it "accepts the command" without actually telling us what commands you're giving it says precisely nothing at all.
