How do I get Nfs2se to start up in 3dfx mode on windows xp? I have it working perfectly in regular mode but I want to get it going in 3dfx. I hear the 3dfx mode has better graphics. Is that true?
You need a 3dfx card.

I downloaded Zechensack's glide wrapper which claims to have compatibility with nfs 2se but I get an error saying under 1 mb then the game quits. I copied nfs2sea to the game directory and everything.
Try running the game in Windows 95 compatibility mode.
I have custom fixes for NFS2SE. They work fine here, except that the 3dfx version pops a dwwin.exe message on exit but runs fine. I use dgvoodoo for the 3dfx version. You'll need ACT 5.0 or later to install the fix.
