Greetings everyone. So, lately I was playing using dgVoodoo and found these:

undying_error_01.jpg
undying_error_02.jpg
undying_error_03.jpg
undying_error_04.jpg
undying_error_05.jpg

I've tried zeckensack's, psVoodoo, & OpenGlide but the results are the same. I wonder if anyone have a clue about this issue.

A patch was released for the game to fix texture issues. The patch is available from EA and other sites:

IIIRC, not all Unreal engine game renders are the same.

Only way to be sure it's not a wrapper issue is to try it with a real Voodoo card.

If there are still issues then it's highly likely the game devs never really tested the game with a Voodo card.

Hey Davros, does the fog in your game look like this? (This one using the D3D renderer)

I have a working v5500 setup with my copy of Undying, post some saves in the problematic areas so I can post back shots

Here, one just outside the mausoleum and another one for checking out the kitchen's basement.

...and what is the screenshot button? :p gonna try them NOW

edit: your saves do not work, I put them in /save/ folder and after running the game they get deleted.... I think you need to post your whole save folder...

OK, droping the saves to undying.exe worked fine 😀 (F9 is the take screenshot button btw)
all look OK, those shots are from Glide renderer, voodoo5500/AGP with amigamerlin2.9 drivers and win98SE (game patch applied also)

Nice shots keropi. I assume the mirrors in your game work fine too. Well I guess these errors I get are caused by my vga driver then. My guess is it has something to do with texture blending/transparency or some sort. Would be nice if someone else could post some screenshots using dgVoodoo.

Yes I've tried most glide wrappers. I've also tried both 16bit and 32bit D3D and the fog looked the same. VolumetricLighting in most of my Unreal 1 games looked so ugly using the D3D renderer, that's one reason I'm using Glide.

I assume it's a newer Geforce card right? because lots of D3D functions are missing in the drivers. I think it's ridiculous that nvidia hasn't fixed this in 3 years.
