Hello, people!
I had used DosBox quite a time ago for Dos games.. just lately I've returned to this wonderful emu-tool...and now checking the Compatibility List saw there the old Win95 games... 😕 I've got especially interested in the "Pacific General", because i just can't get it runnable in proper graphics (my OS being win7 32bit, compatibility mode doesn't help). So, the question is, how can I run the game under DosBox? (I tried to, but got the message "This program cannot be run in Dos mode")... Please, excuse me, if this is a noob question, but I have also searched the forum and FAQ before writing the post...

they probably installed windows in dosbox and ran the game from there.

mobygames says the game is from 1997 and needs win95, directx3 http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/pacific … eneral/techinfo

compatibility list entry says 1994 (before win95). So i think there may be a mistake in the list. Maybe the person was writing about a different SSI game with a simmilar name Panzer General that is from 1994 and for dos:

your first link is for pacific general, but your second link is for panzer general
hence the difference
