I installed Red Baron 3d on My XP computer, with a NiVIDIA G4 card. then installed the Glidos program for Windows Glide games. Then the wierdness began.
The first time I played the game no problems, worked beautifully with 3d Graphics.
But the next day, the game started but no sound! I checked to be sure I had not turned off the sound in the options program, and I had not.
To Sum up, I tried reinstalling RB3d and the same thing happened. The first time it worked great with sound ,but when I left the game and came back in, no sound.
All other games work normally.
Can anybody help me with why apparently the sound disappears under Glidos?
If it was a Dos game I would not be suprised but RB3D is a Windows product.
I have a SB Live card.

glidos is for dos games so it is indeed wierd

Windows based games like Red Baron, do not need the full Glidos system to run in Glide mode on modern computer systems. All they need is the Glide wrapper used by Glidos. This part is distributed free of charge; you do not need to buy Glidos to use it; it is a version of OpenGlide, written by Fabio Barros, and much updated by me.
