I treid that, as it turns out i will have to revert to an older driver for Nvida and for some reason this computer wont allow me to do that, it keeps saying that the driver i have is fine and wont add the older one i have ...so i will have to restore Windows 98 SE on this computer to play it..but first i have to finish playing Anachronox as THAT game now wont play on my modern system with an 8600 GT card as i had to upgrade to SP3 to install better anti virus protectoin and Anachronox will only play with an older version of nHancer 2.4.5 and that wont run uniess there is an older version of NET, 2.0 instead of 4.0 which SP3 demands. 😀 I read in the manual how the first person view is activated by either button 0 or the L key but neither works, the camera keeps moving to the lower left shoulder and wont allow the cinematic views that the game uses to show you things like the key in the lizard cage so it is unplayable really. thanks tho i appreciate your repliles.

and what happens if you move the mouse away from the left shouder
do you have anything like a joystick plugged in

ps: to revert to an older driver uninstall the one your using first, then run driver cleaner

ps: you can have .net ver 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 4.0 installed all at the same time

wow, i bet that may be it, i did indeed have a joystick installed. wow, thanks D. and i did not know we could have multiple versions of NET at the same time, well , i see i do so i guess i did. But i did have to revert to the older version of nHancer because the newer version would not accept the older Nvida driver. The problem with the change of drivers was the Nvida installer absolutely refused to allow me to install the older one, it kept saying that the driiver i wanted to use was not as good as the one i had and refused to make the change. I will try the cleaner that may help. thanks

I had another bug, in the first interaction with the first incarnatiuons girlfriend, with several of the dialog choices the game freezes and refuses to advance. I remember i got past this before by making only the top choiice every time but it did stop me from playing even with that first person problem, i had tried to continue. Anyone else have this?

and i bet you are right about that too, but now...it is not even plugged in that will be the safest..and i think i may be back in Omikron, i was able to install and run it, with a special set of dummy movies for the intro films that allows it to run smoothly...thanks to your tip about the joystick i may actually be able to proceed, thanks again.
