Hi,

Does anyone know how to install WITWICA from 1996 on vista x86? When I try and use the DOSbox it tells me when I try and run the setup file that I need to use windows, but windows tells me my system isn't compatible with that game because it's x86.

I'm running vista home ultimate, 4g RAM, 3.2G CPU on an x86 system.

Edit: I've seen on DoSFreak's spreadsheet that it apparently IS compatible with vista x86 on DOSbox, but I'm kind of stumped at my error message...advice please?

Post the exact error you receive when you run the game in Windows.

If you are running the 64bit version of Windows and you are trying to run a 16bit file then that will not work. You'll need to use an emulator (Virtual PC, Vmware, etc)

Easiest way to tell if you are running the 64bit version of Windows is to look at the contents of "C:\" if you have a c:\program files (x86) direction then you are running 64bit Windows and 16bit programs will not work without an emulator.
I only list compatibility with the DOS version of the game. So everything was installing using DOSBox.
