Hi all, been on a QUALITY game kick lately and since most new games are dumbed down crap, I've been bent on hitting the old stuff I own again. 😀

Time Commando installs and starts fine in both native Vista64 and VMware(WindowXP32), but soon as the intro movies are finished it crashes back to desktop with this.

I've tried all sorts of different Compatibility modes and check box settings, crashes predictably every time not matter what.

Any ideas?

Does your disc include the DOS version of the game? if it does, then you could play it in dosbox.

OMG, duh!!!! There is indeed a Dos dir on the CD with an install.exe. Will try that and report back, thanks.

🤣, only 5+ years later but I do have the Dos version of Time Commando running in a Win10 Dosbox and fairly working with a PS4 controller through PS4Windows.
