I have a windows 7 coumpter and I can't get the old serria game Shivers to run can I run it on a windows 7 coumpter please HELP. I got a windows 7 coumpter a year ago and I cant get it to run I have been trying for a whole year

Did you make sure it's a windows cop? If so then why not set compatibility mode on the exe to first install then on the actual game exe.
Yeah it's a windows copy of the game. This is what it tells me win I try to run it. also yes I have tryed compatibily mode

You have Win 7 64-bit, right?
EDIT: Installer is 16-bit so it won't run on 64-bit system, I'm not sure about the game itself, probably 16-bit too 🙁
Well that did not work cuse I have a 64 bit 🙁 Gosh I really want to play shivers that is the only game Im wish would run on win 7.

Yup Zebius that game is a 16bit code a lot of sierra game before 1997 where that way there for your option is to used a 32bit Windows or Dos OS maybe even Virtual machines like Windows Virtual PC would work.
Didn't anyone listen to me when I said that they removed all 16bit support from windows 764bit?

Leverage new capability:
All 16-bit components should be removed from applications and replaced with 32-bit or 64-bit equivalents.
All 16-bit installers should be converted to 32-bit or 64-bit installers.
If the application uses kernel mode drivers, a 64-bit version of the driver needs to be authored. The application should detect the platform of the OS (32-bit or 64-bit) and then install the proper architecture of the driver based on the OS platform.
Ensure that all 64-bit drivers are digitally signed.
Compatibility test:
Install and launch the application on a 32-bit and a 64-bit Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 computer. The application should function properly on both architectures.

SO how can I get it to play beauce for the Virtual pc don't you nedd the install disks (witch I dont have)

Look on ebay for a copy of windows 98 or windows 95, they go for about 10 dollars, pretty cheap.
