Wanted to note as someone who has been messing with it for awhile, Skout was not a glide accelerated game. I think that is a erroneous claim from Mobygames because the developers and press at the time both heavily pushed the use of the Voodoo 2 with the game (it uses DirectX 6-7), even though upon release that card was too weak to play the game at it's highest settings, as were most cards at the time. It wasn't a very well optimized game.

I played both Final Fantasy 7 and 8 on Voodoo 2 (W98) and I am sure they both run well on Voodoo 1 (W95).

Oh wow. That list has a LOT of Direct3D and OpenGL only games that never had native glide support.

The question isn't whether the games play well on a Voodoo card or not, but whether they utilize the 3DFX Glide API or not.

Lands of Lore II is Drect3D only for Windows render, Glide for the DOS version. The Windows Direct3D render seems a bit rushed, so the Glide render is better.
