Has anyone else noticed this? I've been playing the GoG.com version and using all three different renderers (DOS software mode, DOS 3DFX, and Windows software mode with included DirectDraw to OpenGL patch), and I've noticed that while the two DOS versions feel pretty much the same (with the exception of the 3DFX version looking nicer but running more sluggishly 😜), the Windows version feels "different".

On the Windows version, I find that the framerate is smooth and the resolution's good, but the physics feel slightly off and the gameplay is just a tad too fast. 🤣 I've tried limiting the framerate in the ddraw.ini file to approximate the DOS versions more, but I find that it still doesn't quite feel the same, and the menu transitions chop up too. 😜

This is putting aside the other issues I've noticed like some of the sound effects sounding muffled, occasional texture warping, the mouse controls feeling odd on the menu screens, and the screen "shaking" when I go up certain inclines. 😜
