Hey all thanks for stopping by. I am a total noob to getting these old games to work. Leisure Suit Larry 6 is the game in question. I can get it to work using some application called ScummVM but the graphics are as if its a VGA or generic graphics. Should I be using this application? Could it be the game...? Help Me!!

There are two completely different versions of Leisure Suit Larry 6. If you have the VGA version, then there is nothing whatsoever you can do to make it run in SVGA.

If you bought the game on GOG.com , they apparently changed the bundle to include the SVGA version of LSL6 a couple of weeks ago, so you should download the game again if that's where you got it from.

I do not think the SVGA version, even if you tried, does not work well in ScummVM yet. It uses a newer version of the SCI engine that is not fully implemented yet. The VGA version probably works fine.

Both versions will run great under DOSBox.
