Hi, wondering if anyone could help out, I have a Sony VAIO and i'm using windows xp prof. I tried running kings quest 7 on it (a windows 95 game) and I keep getting the same message. I went to windows explorer and clicked on set up, but I got the message again, this also happened when I clicked install.. I can't think of much, also seeing as it says 16 bit i changed my display to 16 bit from 32 bit but it didn't make a difference.. if you have any info at all please let me know 😀

Also, if you want to run the Windows version, you must have version two of the game. If you look in the base directory of the CD, you will find a file named "VERSION". Open this in Notepad to see what version you have. If it is earlier than two, you will have to install the DOS version. ("INSTALL.EXE" instead of "SETUP.EXE")

Snover, I have noticed that the Sierra Windows games use both WOW and NTVDM.
