Can anyone tell me if this ever got any patches and if so where to get them? It's difficult to Google for this game with a name like "Gun", I keep getting Call of Duty links and stuff.

According to the "Gun Wiki" the game only has a 1.0 revision; see here: http://gun.software.informer.com/versions/
Steam also doesn't show any updates (the game is available via Steam), at least that I could find. Hope that helps. 😀

It's curious that the game doesn't support widescreen since it did come out for the Xbox 360 too.

WSGF says its a "Stretch" game. Not surprising - there's plenty of console games that don't exhibit proper Hor+ or pixel-based scaling; Mass Effect and BioShock are popular examples. I'd say even if you have a 16:9/16:10 monitor just run it at a 4:3 resolution and let it pillar-box, at least it'll look square then.
