I want to try tweaking the 9x MS-DOS mode so it functions just like DOS, cause the MS-DOS mode is a cut down version I believe. Would I change the Autoexe and Config files similar to what was configured in the old thread?

Please help - None of my DOS games are working due to memory problems

The reason I want to run 95 for all my dos games and optimize DOS mode is because of problems in real DOS such as if you make ANY hardware change on a DOS running system, DOS will break and the PC won't stop booting without a blank screen. 😒

You can try my tutorial I made a while ago:

But to be honest DOS shouldn't give you any issues when you change hardware.

Hmm must have copied something else. Here the right one: http://www.philscomputerlab.com/ms-dos-mode-tutorials.html

If there are ever dead links just go to the site and navigate the menus at the top 😀

You can always choose to go multiboot direction. There is a very nice utility called MasterBooter and shareware version allows you to have 4 boot partitions.

http://www.masterbooter.com/main/features_en.html

his way you can easily make a MS-DOS 6.22 / Windows 95 system without compromising anything. It is very easy to use, really.
