I do have it from my 1996 Packard bell Software pack, and it does have the 95 style as shown in previous posts.

I know simcity was released as micropolis though if you could get that port to work in windows 95 that would be amazing

There are multiple ports, this one seems to work (but I don't promise anything, it just seems to run on windows):

Hey nice people,

I do have a problem and I wonder if anyone might be able to help.
SimCity Classic 32bit seems to run well, but the colors are off. The main screen looks messed up, and it seems that the transparency is broken (As seen on the coastline and on the monster for example). This is only apparent for the classic tiles as far as I'm aware, the "future" monsters do not have a weird black box around them for example.
I tried reducing the color to 8bit, but that totally breaks the game and inverts the colors. Can someone give me a hint?

Specs that might be relevant:

Windows 11
Notebook with Intel and Nvidia Graphics

Thanks in advance!

Edit: I made a comparison screenshot. Left: Windows 11 standard, right: Windows XP in 256 color mode (higher color modes do display a black box around the monster, but the coast and other transparency effects are correct).
