I was wondering if someone can help me out here.
I'm having issues runing SimTower on my 486, When i start the game here what happens

You can see the specs of my PC on my signature.

Things i've done...

-Decreased amount of memory to 32mb
-Tried instalation several times from diferent media

My thoughts... this is strange because i use to play this game before on the same computer but a few things have changed since then, i've swaped tha graphic card, i use to have a SiS 6326, increased the system memory and added a 10/100 ethernet card (3Com).
I've already decreased the amount of memorybut the issue is the same, could this be a graphics problem?
Is there anybody who has the same graphic card (Matrox Mystique) as me and manage to get this game working?

I still have the SiS 6326 here but i don't want to change unless it's really necessary.
Yesterday a friend gave me an S3 Virge, for my research it looks this card is one of the best for old PCs...
Help please 😒

Your win3.11 looks remarkable like windows 95.

Do you have the latest Matrox drivers installed? Try a little older version of the driver.

Thank's i have Calmira II installed and it looks great but it's still work in progress, i'm customizing what i can to looks even greater.
I'll see what i can get, i have the original Matrox CD, i'll check it out and see what version i have,
I solved IE5 issue by decreasing the amount of memory, now i can install it without a problem

Did you install a printer? I dimly remember something about fonts and needing to install a printer 😉

Ok, just solved it by installing the true type fonts, here's how i did it.

Main - Control Panel - Fonts - Add - Choose the following path c:\windows\system - Select all - OK

Restart windows and that it, true type fonts installed and Sim Tower working 😊

That's a good guess, since it changes the whole appearence. Seeing that "Gerenciador de Programas" really brought me back at the time. Win 3.x was so much fun, specially with programs like Afterdark and Icon HearIt/DoIt.

That's great that you got it working. Good to know how to get it working if I run into the same issue.

I wonder if installing calmira ii messed up your fonts in the first place?

Don't know if it did, maybe yes because, like i said, i already played this one without any trouble.
I didn't have to install no printer, i just installed the true type fonts available in the system drawer under windows directory and that's it. Very simple.

I always loved MS-Dos and Win 3.11, back then my windows was full customized and i intend to do the same on this one.

i had the same thing...
for some reason windows 3.1 doesn't install the fonts
and you have to do it yourself...
and sim tower needs them...
