In this case "CRT" stands for "C++ Run Time" like the orginal post.

I get that but if he had every CRT under the sun installed, that error still confuses me.

I guess I'd have to look at the offending ddraw.dll in a hex editor myself.

Probably some wrapper GOG threw in there which only works on W7+
