All of the 3D models - unit portraits and map (The units in the game are sprites) - flickers during play which is very annoying. Obviously a graphical glitch.
I've read on a few forums of people having the same problem, with very few solutions but none worked.

The problem is that whenever I modify the settings in the options, if it's wrong then when I load the game I just get a blackscreen and music, but can't change it back (I have to reinstall 😠 ). I can turn make it software rendered, but it's fugly.
The game's not supported these days, so there are no patches either.

Any ideas?
