Install it somewhere where you have full read/write rights. The game will just crash if it can't write save games to its install directory.
I can't be more specific since I run everything as admin all the time, I just set deny rights on Data\SavedGames to test and what do you know: CTD.
Probably avoid installing in Program Files.
So:
- game is installed in C:\Gry\Warthog\Rally Championship Xtreme
- Running as Admin and Compatibility modes didn't do nothing 🙁

what AV software do You use? can you just disable it and test? i had one very bad bird on my machine once that actually created an overlay over the entire C drive and made programs crash this way;
I had a game that would ctd unless zonealarm was disabled

I don't know where saves are located, so i've taken ownership on Data folder - NADA
It's a folder in Data named SavedGames. If there's no folder in Data named SavedGames, create one.

Did it, but game doesn't care, what is quite weird, isn't?
found this on the net
Install "TSP Codec Install.exe" to prevent crashing.
