Game stop responding when match start in Windows 10. I tried this game in PCem and VMware but works too slow. I read that you need less than 2 GHz CPU. Is there any fix?

The 2 GHz problem is in FIFA 2002. Not in 2002 World Cup: Korea Japan.
Asus P4P800 SE/Pentium4 3.2E/2 Gb DDR400B,
Radeon HD3850 Agp (Sapphire), Catalyst 14.4 (XpProSp3).
Voodoo2 12 MB SLI, Win2k drivers 1.02.00 (XpProSp3).
Indeed, I remember upgrading to a 2.4GHz processor and being unable to play the game. On my next upgrade to a C2D 6550 (2.33GHz) I could manipulate the multiplier and go below 2GHz, so I could finally play that game again. For years, I had no clue what was causing the game to crash and everyone I asked about it always prompted me to just stop asking questions and buy the newer version 😵 .
EA fixed this issue in the next release up their schedule just a few months later but never bothered to release a patch for Fifa 2002 and I don't think anyone ever bothered enough to actually fix this issue. Another reason to hate EA for their shameful anti-consumer tactics. 😵
