Any way to disable gamepad on Urban Chaos?

This game is almost unplayable on my system.

Gamepad, no matter Dual Shock 4 (DirectInput) or XBOX One S (XInput), just makes the character spin, probably related to deadzone (not configurable).

I want, at least, remap the keyboard to the gamepad but, since there's no way to disable de gamepad support ingame, the character will stay spinning.

I have tried xinputplus (xinput to directinput wrapper) without luck.

Actually i want to use the gamepad, but through keyboard remapping, since the game's gamepad support is totally broken and there are no analog inputs anyway.

Keyboard alone is not an option since it is as broken as the gamepad, you cant chain combos because there are timming issues.

xinputplus works fine for setting a deadzone for a xinput controller here.
