I'm trying to install THPS3 on Windows 7, and installation worked before on this very PC, now I'm getting the following error:

The problem is, the drive I'm installing on has over 2TB of space left...

What do I do?

Is there a way to trick the program into thinking there is less space than there is?

Do you have access to a smaller disk (like a USB flash drive, an SSD, or external/secondary hard drive)? If so, I'd install the game onto whatever smaller drive you have and then move it onto your 2TB hard drive when you're done. I haven't played the Tony Hawk games in a long time, but I remember being able to copy the THPS3 game files to another directory and run them there without ruining the main installation so it's worth a shot to try, the worst that could happen is having to run regsetup.exe to fix the registry settings but that's not always necessary. Since the game was released in 2002, I'm not surprised that the installer has issues with larger hard drives (I doubt 2TB hard drives were even around back then).

There's also a program called Philip that I used to use.

I've only used it on XP and earlier, but it's described as a 32-bit utility so it should work on 7.
It eats up enough excess hard drive space that the old game is able to see free space.

That worked a charm! Thank you so much! 😀
