Or lack of it.

I've played Gazillionaire on numerous systems over the years with no problems; in fact a few years ago it played fine on the system in question. Dug out that old system recently, put in a new HD, reinstalled XP, and Gazillionaire now has no sound. I have checked all sound drivers and installed the K-Lite package, everything else on the system has sound (windows, games, DVD, CD, online, etc.) just not Gazillionaire. Game setup only has one option for sound, near the end it asks if you have a Soundblaster compatible card, system has an old SB Live so I click "yes".

Online searching has merely elicited a gazillion threads regarding no sound in XP at all.

So, what (probably simple thing) have I overlooked?
