my friends and I are used to play a bunch of old games at our retro LAN parties.
Over the past years, we've managed to get over 200 "old games" up and running properly.

Unfortunately, we were not able to find a working solution for FIFA 98 RtWC to get it up and running via multiplayer LAN (offline LAN without any internet access!).
The singleplayer mode works just fine (with nGlide on our Windows 7 x64 machines)!

The multiplayer network part is based on IPX connections.
So we tried to use the IPX wrapper. First the set up of a multiplayer session seemed to work out of the box, but then we are getting connection timeouts after a few seconds in the LAN match.

Maybe someone here has managed to get the LAN mode for this game running properly on Windows 7 x64 machines?
