I don't know if I can even ask for help since I'm using Wine (as I am a Linux user) but has anyone else ever encountered this?

Basically all ingame audio plays at full volume, with no stereo panning. As if every sound is 2D only. It doesn't matter how far away or where you are, you will always hear a sound at full volume with no positioning whatosever.
