Hi, I have the CD version of U9, both the updated CD and the original shipped one.

I have a Windows 7 x64 computer, all drivers updated, Nvidia graphics

Installation went fine, post install setup was also ok - it detected my sound and graphics, etc.

When I start the game, the screen goes black for a second and then goes to a low res version of my desktop with the "U9 has stopped working. Check online or Close the program" message.

The details and the windows event log don't show anything specific. ("appcrash" and nothing more)

I did compatibility settings in windows for various OS'es, disabled graphics settings and enabled running as administrator. On the game side, i've fiddled with the resolution, mipmapping, etc to no effect.

I patched the game as well. There's an unofficial patch to 1.19h i believe.

Anyone have any other ideas?
