The game runs fine on Windows 10 (setting Windows 95 compatibility, otherwise crash immediately at startup). However the audio tracks from CD won't play during races. I have a disk image mounted with DT in SCSI drive.

are you using an image that supports redbook audio?

Yes. It is in cue/bin format.
I'm not familiar with V-Rally but other games I have with CD audio won't play music unless the drive or disc image is the first drive letter. I.e., you have a physical CD drive letter H: and your disc image is mounted as I: - you won't get music unless your disc image drive letter is before H: (Mortal Kombat Trilogy & Need for Speed 2 have this issue) so try changing drive letter assignments.
Nothing works. I guess new OSs are missing something for correctly playing the tracks. Maybe with a patched executable it will work...but I haven't the needed skills.
