This game came along with a lot of old PC games I bought recently but I can't get it to install on any of my computers.
The setup program runs some sort of hardware detection routine that flags the cpu as incompatible and I can't get it to ignore it or skip it.
It says something like:

PROCESSOR
Unknown P6 family
not supported
Hardware FAILED

As for what it's worth it passes all the other tests.
I tried all the compatibility modes (I'm running Windows 10 by the way).
The systems I tried are: i7 4770k and Athlon II X2 250.

Unpack it using Universal Extractor.

If you want to know how to solve this problem yourself later, then run Process Monitor with filters set up like this:

If a game needs registry entries and you're on a 64-bit system, they're likely in WOW6432Node. Run HotWheelsWorldRaceLauncher.exe and Process Monitor should give you this:

Create that registry entry, then repeat the process until you've created all registry entries the game needs. Which in this case is:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\THQ\HotWheels\WorldRace\HotWheelsInstallPath
HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\THQ\HotWheels\WorldRace\HotWheelsCDPath

If your still failing the cpu check try resplendent resolver (Havnt tried it with win 10)
it may work
