I have a copy of Heretic II that installs and runs fine except a few issues. I am on the latest official patch (I do not want to use the fan patch, because I am using both nGlide and WickedGL because it fixes the underwater and fog graphical glitches) and the game runs well however I cannot get the no cd to work and there is no dismemberment and blood at all. These are not huge issues, but they are annoying and the lack of dismemberment kind of kills the atmosphere of the game a bit. I have gone into every config file and have added no cd and changed the blood level to 3 nothing works. it is like the game does not read the config files and apply them. Any tips would be appreciated.
