I found a 1997 Optiplex GN and it is unable to detect CD-ROM to boot anything, why is that?

97 smells more like a maybe boots off CD year than a certainly boots off CD year.

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.
