So here's an update on this situation: I've tried every single graphics wrapper i've got in my arsenal -DgVooDoo, DXWnd, DDrawCompat, etc.-, let alone every single compatibility mode, in Windows on this stubborn piece of work to no avail as it can't get past the intro movie where it keeps throwing the aforementioned exception code. Nothing seems to work on this one., which makes me wonder if said "programmer"was on a bad mood to being called to work on a Monday, of all things.

BTW This particular copy was sourced thorough the Internet Archive as it was the most complete currently available. (The one available @ REMOVED appears to have some missing files right away.) Tested on Windows 11 Proffessional.
