Hi
I'm looking for a war game (I don't remember if RTS or not) , top view, graphics like Red Alert 1 , estimated time 90's to no later than 2002.
The game is with real soldiers, not robot monsters, etc., I remember in particular a soldier with a metal detector (A long stick with a device at the end) who entered a fenced minefield area to discover mines.
Hope someone has a faint idea of what I'm talking about.

Yup.
Fenced mine area may also suggest JA Deadly Games or JA2
JA2 definitely had some mined and fenced bases that I remember.
There are some other candidates, though I'm not sure if they have mine detection mechanics: Soldiers at War and 101st Airborne.

Very similar, but I remember a simpler game, and I think that the character was with army uniform.
So is a game with a top-down perspective and pure 2d graphics right? I wanted to add a shadow company to the list but in case it is pure 2d the description would not fit at all. Shadow Company has a free 3d camera.
