I'm trying to run this game in windows 10 since a while, i remember that it can be run with dgvodoo2 only in software mode (in 3d only showed white graphics) now i've tried the lastest version and it looks fine in 3d but it goes like at 1 fps... i wonder if there's a way to improve that

How did you even start the game? It doesn't work with dgVoodoo2 here, what are your dgV2 settings

Yes I checked that page. By some terrible luck, nothing worked, even I can't get the game to change to SW mode as the OP is using

To be fair you had better luck until now. I messaged other 3 people and none of them even got to the race...in fact if a debugger is attached to the game, I get an error with a file "data.mix". I am not sure if that's a corrupt file or such.

Won't work on my end either. Can start the game and watch videos but it won't go past initial loading (fast video memory access doesn't help).
Same with ddrawcompat.
Solution for using software rendering from PCGW doesn't work.
Op seems to be using WIndows 10. He could replace dgVoodoo2 with DDC as feda found on the dgV2 forums

By the way, you can create a file named ddrawcompat.ini in the game folder with the following options for antialiasing and anisotropy:
TextureFilter=af16x
Antialiasing=msaa4x

i did it in win 10 x64, after the install i just added dgvodoo like i show in the pics and ddrawcompat and the .ini
