Is it possible to play "The Hive" on anything but Win95?

Running it in Compat mode in XP will launch the main executable(not the config menu though), however it won't play.

For those unfamiliar, The Hive was a game based on prerendered movie files with a small crosshair your controlled. Shoot the prerendered ships would make them explode, etc...(sorta like an interactive movie)As far as I can tell, it used an activemovie trick to do this. And that has gone the way of the dodo since WindowsMedia.

Upon request, I can create an ISO file for one of the discs(it's a two disc game), as this game is obviously not being sold anymore(it didn't even work on Win98, win95 -only-) and it's damned hard(or impossible) to find online. Only if it'd help come to a solution(and I would rather not make one for the 2nd disc for legal reasons)

Much appreciated:)

I can't get the config menu to work but I found out how to get the game itself to show:

install the following video drivers(right click on file and click "install"). They are the msmpeg4 and windows media audio codecs.

If anyone know how to get the config menu the work, it'd be complete

Redistribution of those codecs is dubiously legal, so they have been removed
