hello i have installed carmageddon 2 on pcem machine whit a Pentium mobile mmx 200mh windows me 128mb of ram end a diamond stealth 2000 whit 4mb of vram the game runs ok a bit laggy but playable but on the menu screen the immage isnt shown properly
Diamond Stealth 3D 2000 houses an original S3 Virge, hardly ideal for Carmageddon 2. Change your selected videocard or add a Voodoo 2 on PCEM, that should improve performance and make sure you have no image quality issues.
That being said, an MMX 200 is a bit too slow for Carmageddon 2. You really want something like a fast Pentium II and Voodoo 3 to enjoy framerates north of 20ish if I recall correctly.
