I'm not sure if anyone will care, but I've identified a neat sound card on eBay. The Diamond Monster Sound MX200 is one of Diamond's early A3D-capable accelerated PCI cards. It also has a MIDI daughtercard equipped with a 4MB Roland patch set and Dream synth. Fun little tidbit: This "Roland" patch set was illegal and the company who made it got sued for stealing sounds. 😀

I was going to buy it but apparently the Roland SCD-15 is equivalent to what's on this card and I don't need more PCI cards. This PCI card will only work with DOS games in a Win9x DOS box. One could always yank that daughtercard though and put it on any other card with a DB connector, I believe.

thanks

couldn't resist

Too bad it can't be run in pure dos but I plan to use it for later DOS games that can run in windows 95 or games like Final Fantasy VII
