Which one is better in your opinion?
I found quite a few for sale. The one im interested in is:

ColorMax S3 Trio64V+

And if some one would be kind to give a little explanation/history onto this case (S3 PCI graphics and DOS/WIN98SE). It would be appreciated 😀

Virge is essentially a upgraded Trio64V+, and Virge DX is an improved Virge.

Well thats answered my question, i thought those were different class series.
So Virge DX is the way to go?

I'm kinda new to the whole story of old GPUs. I remember my first PC from 1999 had an Cirrus Logic card in it. Good times.

Cirus Logic in 1999? Damn man, that was retro even then 😁 I think I had voodoo 3 back then 😀
