Hello everyone,

Here is my problem, I found my old Dungeon Keeper CD and with friends we would like to play the game online.

The problem is that in the multiplayer option I don't see anything that would let me play with a friend over the Internet using a ADSL connection. There are only things like: COM1, COM2, COM3, etc ...

So I was wondering if there was a way to simulate a old modem that would let me play online, like those apps that create fake printers to let you create PDF files using Word for exemple.

Or maybe a other way??

Thanks a lot in advance for your help 😁!

I haven't used it, but I think DOSBox provides serial emulation over TCP/IP so you can play modem games over the Internet or a LAN. This may only be in the CVS builds, and don't ask me how to do it because I've never tried (other people may know however)

Ah. In that case you may try looking into stuff like Kali.

A quick google searched turned up this: http://www.taltech.com/products/tcpcom.html (look at the software's ability to create virtual serial ports that forward to TCP/IP ports).
