Hello folks

I don't want to be a pain in the arse, and I'm sure there's somewhere else I should be posting my question, but I'm desperate for some help.

I'm a first time user of dosbox and all I'm trying to do is run Discworld 1, which I recently downloaded in the shape of a torrent. (I'm sure you're all groaning, but I HAVE read the readme files and searched as best I can for more info to help me...) I've followed the set up instructions to the letter, the only problem is I don't know if I can run the game as it is because it's in winRAR archive format. What I have is 11 identical winRAR files inside the game's folder and I don't know what to type instead of .exe or equivalent. The files are all called mtx-dw. Is there something I need to do to change their format?

I'm sure you hate clueless idiots asking questions like this, but I'd really appreciate any guidance you could give me at all. Thank you!

On the side note, is there any DOS-based RAR unarchiver? You know, something like LHA or ARJ.

Never thought this thread would be that long, but now, for something different.....

uhh yeah, DOS RAR http://www.salokin.demon.co.uk/dos_utils.htm

If you want something more recent you'll probably have to use 7zip CLI with HXRT.

Rar for dos is still maintained, a most recent version can be download from its official website http://www.rarlabs.com/download.htm
